IMSS serves the mentally ill

The IMSS serves more than 1 000 000 patients with any form of mental disorder each year; of these, 70,000 suffer from schizophrenia, a disease that mainly affects young people between 15 and 25 years old and has the second highest prevalence of mental illness in Mexico, after the depression.
